move technology is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Zwickau University of Applied Sciences (WHZ) as an associated partner in the MetHyMot project. The interdisciplinary team from the fields of automotive engineering, economics, electrical engineering and physical engineering is working on the development of an innovative multi-fuel engine concept. This enables emission-free operation with hydrogen and optionally with methanol, thus making an important contribution to sustainable mobility in the future.
The project is not only technologically significant, but also socially significant: the integration of acceptance research is intended to promote the market penetration of hydrogen technologies.
“For us at move technology, the combination of technical expertise and interdisciplinary thinking is crucial to turning innovative hydrogen applications into reality. We contribute our knowledge in engine development and hydrogen technology and work intensively to create concrete utilization opportunities for the developed solutions,” explains Tom George, Managing Director of move technology.
“Our aim is not only to develop sustainable technologies, but also to promote their implementation and acceptance in practice. The interdisciplinary project team at Zwickau UAS and the international market knowledge of our new associated partner move technology provide the perfect framework for this,” says Prof. Dr. Ulrich Walther from Zwickau University of Applied Sciences.
The MetHyMot project is funded by the European Union and the Free State of Saxony.
