move technology and DBI Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Further Develop HYDROGENGALAXY

move technology GmbH and DBI – Gastechnologisches Institut gGmbH Freiberg have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly further develop the digital learning and knowledge platform HYDROGENGALAXY. The collaboration focuses on integrating practical expertise related to the safe handling of hydrogen and hydrogen systems.

DBI will contribute its experience and specialist knowledge from the gas and hydrogen sectors to the further development of the platform. This includes topics such as occupational safety, incident prevention, as well as safety- and hazard-related parameters relevant to the operation and handling of hydrogen systems.

The aim is to use this expertise to create learning opportunities for HYDROGENGALAXY users that go beyond the communication of theoretical fundamentals. In doing so, the collaboration addresses a key challenge in professional training for the hydrogen economy: specialist knowledge must not only be available, but also conveyed in a way that enables learners to apply it to specific professional situations. Particularly in areas such as occupational safety, understanding causes, interdependencies and potential consequences is essential.

Among other areas, DBI focuses on the safe operation of gas and hydrogen systems and already shares this expertise through practice-oriented training and educational formats. This perspective complements HYDROGENGALAXY’s digital and didactic approach and provides a foundation for presenting even complex safety-related topics in a practical and application-oriented digital format.

The objective is to create a learning environment in which hydrogen knowledge is not only communicated, but understood within its practical context and applied to real-world tasks and challenges.

The project is funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) and by tax revenues on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon State Parliament.
