For the third time in a row, the Chemnitz-based technology company move technology took part in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The annual trade fair for electronics, future technologies, and innovations is considered the world’s leading trade fair for the entire industry and brings together companies, start-ups, investors, and decision-makers from all relevant technology sectors.

CES 2026 was once again dominated by artificial intelligence – but with a clear shift in focus: While experimental approaches and proofs of concept were the main focus in previous years, AI is now deeply embedded in industrial applications, products, and business models. Autonomous systems, agent-based software architectures, and AI-supported decision-making and optimization processes in particular are increasingly shaping real value chains.
Another focus was on human robotics. Humanoid and collaborative robot systems are developing rapidly and are increasingly moving beyond the laboratory and demonstration stage. At CES, it became clear that these systems will play a central role in industry, logistics, service, and care in the future – closely interlinked with AI, sensor technology, and digital infrastructure. At the same time, the trade fair impressively demonstrated how closely digitalization and energy are now considered together.
Digital platforms, AI-supported energy management systems, networked infrastructures, and solutions for green energy generation, storage, and distribution were central components of many exhibitors’ concepts. Sustainability is no longer seen as an add-on, but as an integral part of technological innovation.
High visibility in the German Pavilion
move technology was once again present in the German Pavilion this year, which served as a central point of contact for international visitors, industry partners, and the media. The trade fair appearance provided an ideal platform for exchanging ideas with existing customers and initiating new partnerships. “With our stand in the German Pavilion, we had optimal visibility and excellent opportunities to hold intensive discussions with existing and new customers,” explains Tom George, Managing Director of move technology.
