move technology GmbH is collaborating with the Berlin-based studio MP Mimic Productions GmbH to develop new AI-powered interaction capabilities for the digital learning platform HYDROGENGALAXY. The goal of the partnership is to create a photorealistic, three-dimensional AI avatar that will guide users through hydrogen-related content and enable entirely new forms of knowledge transfer.
The official project kick-off took place last week. At the core of the initiative is a digital avatar capable of interacting with users through artificial intelligence, conversational AI, and advanced 3D technologies. The aim is to make learning about hydrogen technologies significantly more immersive, engaging, and intuitive.
Mimic Productions, founded by David Bennett, is internationally recognized as one of the leading studios in the fields of visual effects (VFX), digital humans, extended reality (XR), and conversational AI. The company has contributed to numerous Hollywood blockbuster films, video games, and innovative projects in the fashion and medical technology sectors, bringing extensive expertise in the creation of photorealistic digital characters.
“With HYDROGENGALAXY, our goal is to make complex hydrogen topics understandable, interactive, and tangible. The AI avatar is an important step toward elevating learning in this field to a new level,” says Ronny Donath, Project Lead at move technology.
Visitors will get a first glimpse of the new technology at HANNOVER MESSE at the end of April 2026, where move technology will present an initial preview.
HYDROGENGALAXY is a publicly funded project. The funding is provided through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) and through tax revenues based on the budget adopted by the Saxon State Parliament.
